The Runebringer Runeset
|
|
"Sow a thought and
you reap an action;
sow an action and you reap a habit;
sow a habit and you reap a character;
sow a character and you reap a destiny."
-- Unknown
The Runebringer
Runeset is like a treasure map -- it is a tool to help you find your
way and get
what you need and want. You begin with your Self at the I-Rune
and end
with your Destiny at the P-Rune. Each rune has various
concepts
and principles associated with it. By becoming aware of, familiar with,
and
utilizing these
concepts, principles, and bits wisdom that the Runes hold, you acquire
the power to
better understand
and fulfill your own needs, dreams, and destiny. You need not force
any changes -- all you need do is provide your mind with a continual
and
regular supply of these 'mental vitamins' and the changes will occur
naturally.
Know that the concepts, principles, and bits of wisdom presented here
are not new or original. They
come from various sources and have been passed down throughout the
ages. They can be found in a variety of philosophies, religions,
traditions, methods, and educational systems if you take the time to
look.
The twenty four (24) Runes of the Runebringer Runeset are broken down
into four (4) groups of six (6) Runes each. Each group has general themes, but
the concepts associated with the individual Runes are not necessarily
restricted to those themes.
The Fire Runes
The general themes of the Fire Runes have to do with your Spirit,
your concept of Self, your purpose in life, and your Power
of Awareness.
The Air Runes
The general themes of the Air Runes have
to do with your Mind, your use of Thought, and your Power of
Choice.
The Water Runes
The general themes of the Water Runes have
to do with your Body, the Manifestation of your ideas
into reality, and your Power of Action.
The Earth Runes
The general themes of the Earth Runes have to do with your World,
how you relate to your natural and social Environment, and your
Power of
Example.
Rune Table
The table below provides
an overview of the concepts
associated with each Rune.
The
Runebringer Lorestone
A Lorestone
is
like a 'mental multi-vitamin pill' that contains all 24 Runes on its
surface. The
Lorestones is designed to be a tangible reminder for
you to take
your mental
vitamins. You may also use them
for meditation and contemplation on the concepts,
principles, and wisdom associated with each Rune. You may even wish to
use a Lorestone as a gift or conversation piece.
The
Lorestone pictured to the right is made from paper, ink, and a little
bit of quick drying adhesive to hold it together. It is a regular
octahedron
(i.e. it has eight sides made up of equilateral triangles). Each side
has three runes on it.
To craft your own paper version of
the
Runebringer Lorestone simply download and print the How To
Craft A Lorestone pdf file (89 KB) and follow the directions
