The U-Rune
Desire
Desires
arise from our Needs. They are learned. A Need for food can arise as a
Desire for an apple, for example. We must be aware that we may Desire
something that we believe will fulfill a Need, but it may not.
Or, there may be a better way to satisfy a need with different
Desire -- replacing a desire for junk food with a desire for healthier
food, for example.
Passion
Passion is
the measure of the strength of a Desire. You are more likely to succeed
in the pursuit of your Desires when you are truly strong Passion for
them.
Values
Values
govern your behavior. You will likely seek to pursue Desires that are
in harmony with your Values.
Intentions
Wanting
something is one thing, but there is a big difference between merely
wanting something and having an Intention to get what you really
want.
Making a list of things you want is a great start, but then your
Desires, Passions, and Values come into play to help determine which
Desires you have the Intention of fulfilling.
